So this is Christmas, and what have we done….
Well we can’t quite believe that 2016 is nearly over! It’s been another excellent year and a pleasure to cook for so many lovely people at festivals and functions up and down this fair land – hopefully you were one of them!
We’ve had a lot of firsts this year.
It was a great start to the new year, with a 6 week residence at Trinity Kitchen in Leeds, and a real treat to be at the Yorkshire Food & Drink Festival in Skipton, serving up our flat iron steaks to The Hairy Bikers* in ‘Foodie Heaven’. (*…well they looked a lot like them).
We were delighted to be invited back ‘on location’ with Ford Motor Company at the Heritage Centre in Dagenham – a real hidden gem if you’re into classic cars and big ends. Who isn’t?
We’re looking forward to our last job of the year on Friday when we’ll be serving up some wicked curries at the Smailes Goldie Christmas party!
We’ll be on a research & development mission in Portugal for the month of January 2017! A working holiday, picking up some tips and tricks while cooking alongside seasoned locals in their long established kitchens, and hoping we’ll get the chance to see some sun too!
We’re also very pleased to announce we are now a TradeMarked company – feeling all official with our Registration Certificate from the IPO 😉
